Absolutely loving how our schedule plays out for travel. Little bit of a short turn around for the team between ULM and CCU, but works great for me in terms of the open weekend before traveling for the GA Southern game. Gotta make my way through the East. Did Boone in year 1, Marshall last year, now for Statesboro.

Troy on Tuesday, App on Thursday, Texas State on Friday, and all other games on Saturday. I HATE TUESDAY GAMES. What a friggin’ disruption it creates in your schedule.

Thank you Texas State for agreeing to a game on Black Friday. We get the dreaded Thanksgiving week again but at least you agreed to move the game to Friday. I can’t say the same for our 2022 opponent.

We’ve only lost the Memorial Game once and beat teams much better than us on it

You are guaranteed all Saturday games, per our contract games can't be moved up after the March 1 announcements.

See the advantages of losing? You get more Saturday games...

Really nice to see the league only have two Tuesday games this year.

If there's a tougher five game stretch than these for CCU I haven't found it:

10/5 Old Dominion
10/10 at James Madison*
10/19 Louisiana
11/2 at Troy
11/7 App State*
11/16 at Marshall

And of course South Alabama is hosting one again. With us playing Troy and Southern Miss at home in alternating seasons we might continue to see it.

Yeah at the same time it allows schools to win over commuter students that dip out from campus Thursday afternoon but then you lose a lot of alumni fans that travel regionally over the weekend.

Not saying that’s the case in a smaller large city like Mobile with no major metro area for 100’s of miles but it’s definitely true with Austin being 30 miles away. I’m sure commuter students don’t really exist in Mobile much ar all.

Why are we playing Ark St again? We haven't played Troy or ULM yet.
