Lunardi has us in for the first time. Playin game vs Grambling. If we are a 16, which we would be, I'd much rather be in the playin and have a chance for a win. Upsets in other low major conferences could knock us out of it. Of course, we still have to win our tournament.
Should we beat Grambling...wait for it...we face top-seed Arizona!
I don’t know about you guys but I’m all for playing Purdue again lol (and it’s actually possible)

I mean Arkansas beat them.

Everybody needs a Vandy on their schedule. ... Houston Nutt.

Of course, that was an exhibition game…i.e. a game that didn’t count. Still I’d like to see how Mitchell matches up against Edey.
The pigs losing against a terrible Vandy team at home as well as Kansas losing at Allen Fieldhouse last night, reminded me that us winning our next 2 at home is not a sure thing. Even if we get the double bye, not sure our odds of winning 2 straight in Evansville are much better than 30% or so. A lot of work to do to get that NCAA bid.
MJS i agree with you about the tournament. They are going to have to play a bit smarter when they start to have foul trouble, especially right before halftime so they dont go into the second half with 3 fouls. I am impressed with their overall play the last 8 or 10 games. I am optimistic that they can win it but youre right there wont be any easy games.
Lenard still has LR as the AQ from theOVC in his bracketology.
But in this "prediction" article he picks Morehead.

Play-in game looking less likely for us. The two best NET teams in the Atlantic Sun, E. Kentucky and Lipscomb, are already out even though they got to play their games on their respective home courts. Stetson (208) and Austin Peay (220) are the best teams left. Our NET is 188. I am now hoping there are a couple of more upsets, in low major conferences, so move can move up to a 15 seed. While I doubt the committee spends much time looking at the lowest seeds, I wonder if we might get a "bump" if we go in with an 11 game winning streak and 14 out of 15 overall. We are clearly a better team now, than our overall NET would suggest.
IF we win the conference tournament, I would like to play either Purdue (let's run it back again lol) or play UNC, so we may perhaps have a shot at doing something the Razorbacks can't ever do, which is beating UNC in March (probably unlikely for us too but you never know...)
