App, JMU and Troy have locked up double byes. Congrats to those teams. Ark State is in the driver seat for the #4 seed, but they do play at App State this week. Louisiana and Southern Miss are still mathematically alive for that #4 seed, but Southern Miss likely would need to win 2 on the road and Louisiana would likely need to sweep Troy and Southern Miss at home to have a chance.
ODU will be playing on opening day (seeds 11-14 play on opening day) of the Sun Belt tourney. Coastal and Texas State are likely to be playing on opening day, but they still have a chance to move in front of USA, ULM, and Georgia Southern who are all trying to avoid playing on opening day.
Here's my question: what's the tie-breaker for the #4 seed if ASU and USM both finish 11-7. Both are 1-1 in H2H. What's the next tie-breaker?
4 seed scenarios:
AState takes the Double Bye with:
1. Wins @ Coastal and @ App
OR
2. One Win and one loss each by Coastal/ULL
OR
3. Win vs Coastal or App
AND
USM Wins vs USA and ULL
AND
JMU Losses to CCU/GSU
AND
Troy wins vs ULL/Texas State
USM/ULL:
1. Win out
AND
One loss by AState
OR
2. Winner of USM/ULL only wins that game this week
AND
2 AState losses *(Assuming JMU doesn't lose out and give AState the USM tiebreaker)

USM wins the tiebreaker due to their win over JMU unless Troy was to pass JMU for 2nd place in the league standings, at which point it falls to AState because they swept Troy.
Technically if AState beats App that's a better win than USM's win over JMU, but USM didn't play App this season so the AState/App game cannot be considered for tiebreaker purposes.
If JMU and Troy tie for 2nd it gets complicated
The way the rules are written, the JMU/Troy tie is not broken prior to determining the AState/USM tie, which means it goes to combined record against JMU/Troy. Both teams would be 2-1 since USM split with Troy and AState swept Troy. That means it comes down to record vs the 6th place team in the league which is not yet known because in theory both Georgia State and Marshall can sneak into a tie with ULL for that spot (operating under a scenario where ULL loses out, if ULL beats Troy, they are 6th and USM gets the tiebreaker)
The scenario for App to be the No. 1 seed is simple.

You posted multiple times "As predicted" where you told us how Arkansas State had no shot and it was only between USM and UL. Are things still playing out exactly as you kept telling everyone?
BTW, Arkansas State won again. We're 11-6 in conference and currently in 4th place.
AState plays like hot garbage, still runs away and beats Coastal with ease. 71-60 final after some garbage time points for the Chants.
There was absolutely nobody in the arena. It was like watching our own basketball team from a couple years ago.
USA beats Southern Miss 73-70 in Mobile. Troy is up 14 @ UL with 3 minutes left.
If the Troy result holds, AState will clinch the 4 seed and the Double Bye, and the AState/App game will have no effect on seeding. The USM/UL winner on Friday will clinch the 5 seed. Loser is the 6 seed.

Troy beats UL 87-73 in front of what looked like a fan base hoping for a firing.
Top 4 seeds are now known. App, JMU, Troy, AState. 5 and 6 will be determined with UL/USM game on Friday Night.
7-12 is an absolute mess. There are 4 teams tied at 7-10 and two tied at 6-11.

They misread the schools with new coaches quite a bit, but that's understandable given that both AState and GS went with entirely new rosters.
