A sign of changes coming?....or just a crappy logo?
Look like GD road sign, like Route 66 or something. Puzzling change...
I like the slogan "where champions rise".

What was wrong with any of these? Especially the first and last?

Changing your logo so often only confirms you're a small time conference.
I get they were trying to link the interstate/highway concept of the conference together but this is a big down grade for me. The other logo was more unique. The new one reminds me of the current Great American Conference (or GAC for short) Division 2 logo.

I agree, the previous logos are better. I do like the first one shown above. This reminds me of a gas station. https://www.bing.com/images/search?view=...t=4&sim=11

What I don’t understand is the intent to copy a highway sign. That had to be the intent because there’s no way it was just a coincidence.

What’s the statement being made? That it’s the quintessential bus league? That schools take the fastest road out of town when they rise?
I like the new highway sign logo.

The 2000-2007 logo is one of the greatest conference logos I’ve ever seen. Totally unique and memorable.

I agree with small time conference comment but need to get the memo out to all the sports teams that change their jerseys/logos weekly/annually.
The America East is not a serious conference. This logo confirms that. Bit of a shame, because they really could have leapfrogged the CAA by this point if they had the ambition.
Well it is kinda the I-95 conference.

I'd have gone with "Conference of Champions" instead of "Where Champions arise", I hear that's available now...

The CAA has been doing that to themselves, adding lightweight low-majors to replace programs that made the conference famous.

That's kind of my point, the CAA has given the America East every opportunity to go on the offensive and they just... haven't.
Both conference are fine. I don't see the argument. Monmouth and Campbell will prove to be good additions eventually in my opinion. Its not like the CAA had tons of options or are first in line for picking. I do think High Point will be a nice addition if that comes to fruiting assuming there are more departures in the summer.
Hampton? NC A&T? Elon?

What the Hell was logic in adding not just one of them, that's bad enough, but all three of them?

And how would you expect them to do that? Raid the CAA? America East is fine....their new logo is not great.
The new logo is “fugly.”

As for AmEast/CAA positioning, I don’t think Stony Brook taking all of itself over to CAA is “addition through subtraction.” And, to date, nobody who used to call America East its home has come back.

I don’t disagree that the potential could be there. But why it can’t ever materialize or realize, even now, should say something, too. I get the impression the internal politics there are just as petty and ridiculous as it is/was in CAA.

Shame. I had hoped AmEast could have further grown south of its New England/NY core, and maybe not make UMBC the outpost. But I don’t know how that happens. And DavidSt, I’m not looking for lists! 05-nono
It feels like they just want something that's an easy patch to get on a jersey.
The only positive is getting back to red white and blue, which a conference with "america" in the name should have always had... otherwise, its awful. I'd go back to the circa early 2000's logo with the "A" being part of the star!
