with UT-Martin and WIU. At this point we would win the tie-breaker and be the 2-seed. A lot can happen before then. We have 4 very winnable games. Morehead is one game up on us. They have 3 easy home games, but one very tough road game at WIU. We have the tie-breaker if we win out and they lose at WIU.
The plot thickens.
Morehead 2nd leading scorer did not play in LR. And did not play today.
Nice win today. Mitchell was a beast but having him in at the very end of thr first half could have been disaster against a better team.
But a safe play against a bad team. Crocker Johnson was in foul trouble too and I was ok letting him play against a bad team.
We really needed morehead to beat Martin today. Martin finishes with the same 4 teams we finish with so I doubt they lose another game. And we shouldn't either we will see what happens.

You're right. The 2 of us should go 8-0. But I'd almost guarantee one of us will lose a game. Question is which one of us will it be. They have been on a hot streak just like us. Should be a fun finish

Interesting info. Just looked it up. Jordan Lathan, who averaged 15.9 points a game and scored 30 against Indiana, has missed the past four games due to injury. Haven't been able to find anything about his status, but saw no evidence it is a season-ending injury. Not shedding tears for Morehead, considering all the injuries we have had over the past few years. Still we obviously beat a team that was not at full strength. Can we beat them if he is back in the line-up? Who knows, but I'm sure they believe they can beat us on a neutral court with him in the line-up.

Fans on their message board thought he might be back this weekend, but obviously he didn't play. So it sounds like they don't believe it is a serious injury. I would think he will play next week, but I guess we'll see.
