MAC home games: CMU, TOL, UB, and MIA. CMU and TOL are rivals. We have UB's 2023 starting QB. MIA won the MACC in 2023.
Steve, the schedule is incredibly important! Many of Creighton's teams, especially 2017 and 2018 ran the gauntlet early in the season and his teams never established a sense of confidence that resulted in an 0-6 OT record and a plethora of one-score losses that was mentioned on national television. Those teams were good.
That is what makes the 2023 team's results so painful. We played the absolute bottom of the East Division in three crossover games, went 3-0 against them, and yet finished 4-4 in the conference. Last season's team was not at all good.

Is the Massachusetts game opener still there as a non-league game? I know they are not eligible until next year for MAC competition. Just wondered how this would be handled?

Correct - it is considered an OOC game this season.
UMASS will have to reschedule or cancel SEVERAL OOC games over the next few seasons.
