Toledo Women have not lost at home to a MAC school in over a year and play in front of 4,000 plus fans per game. If they were a mens team they would rank third in attendance behind Ohio and Toledo. They have massive support. U of Michigan was just in Toledo and lost to Rockets in front of 7,000 fans.
Just curious ... why are we getting all these Toledo posts on our basketball threads all of a sudden? First MBB, now here. Nothing happening over there so this is where the troll brags hang out? I usually think pretty highly of Toledo posters and don't comment about such things.

The post on this thread is rare as they aren't a high volume poster in general. Must really love the lady Rockets.

Btw. All I did was post a common notice on the board that there's a game tonight. Around here some of us do that as a reminder. Maybe Toledo wins. I haven't followed them. If they do, so what? It's one game. Even if NIU wins, I probably won't post on it. There are 12 more games after, then the MACT.
Final score…Toledo 72 NIU 52 so we get beat by 20 tonight.

Because some NIU fans do the same thing with football on our page, but that isnt really an issue anymore. We don't get that from NIU fans with basketball. If you dont like it, take it up with your amazing AD Sean Frazier. He has built some amazing programs at NIU!

Huh? I'm not sure how to respond to your convoluted post with one sentence, so ...
1. I am not "some" fans, and most of us are not either. I have posted on the Toledo forum, but it's usually a question or compliment. Toledo does some good things, and its fan posters have some good info to share. I sometimes enjoy reading it.
2. If what "some" NIU fans have done r.e. football on your page, but it isn't an issue now, why bring it up?
3. Since you "don't get that from NIU fans with basketball," why are you doing that on an NIU basketball thread?
4. Is your real intent just to take a dig at NIU AD Frazier? If so, we already do (more than enough of) that ourselves. We don't need help from an outsider.
What prompted my initial response was that your initial post was just coming over here for a cheap brag that had nothing to do with the OP or thread discussion. We already know about UT WBB attendance, have commented on it (complimentary), and we would like to build our own. Your buddy's response was pure (admitted) troll. Both say something about the integrity and quality of "some UT fans."
Note I responded by the numbers so you can easily pick and choose your trolls. Or ... go home ... and you're right to tell any NIU trollers to do the same. Calling out trolls is a standard feature.
Let's all try to keep these forums at a high level. I have told this to others ... there are a lot of "guests" who read these forums, and we don't know who they are.
