SA started the second half like the first and led by 21 with 12:18 to play when the Herd went on a 15-0 run to get the lead down to 6 and eventually to 85-89, but SA held on for a 91-85 victory. Marshall shot 52% FG (10-23 3s) but were hurt by 15 TOs. Obinna Anochili-Killen led the Herd with 26 pts (8-20 FG, 2-7 3s, 8-10 FT), Cameron Crawford came off the bench for 23 (10-12 FG, 3-3 3s, 0-3 FT) and Kamdyn Curfman added 17 (6-10 FG, 2-5 3s, 3-3 FT).
