I just don't understand how Ole Miss fans continue to tolerate a mediocre football program. Maybe its because I grew up in the shadow of Ohio State's horseshoe, where OSU's one loss (borderline acceptable) better not be against that team from up North. Ole Miss NEVER plays any talent outside of the SEC unless its in a back alley bowl game, and even then, its against a program either on the rise or on a downward slide. Ole Miss couldn't beat Nebraska even if someone spiked their water supply before kickoff. The only way Ole Miss gets into a decent bowl game is for Eli to go pro this year and allow the school to can Cut and get in someone who can 1) recruit 2) not get regularly outcoached (see Ole Miss v. Tuberville the last 4 years) and 3) win.
