Question: Can someone update me on Delaware's status re: eligibility for conference championships now that they are exiting for CUSA? I can't remember if the CAA made changes after the JMU situation...

Delaware Accepts Invitation to Join Conference USA as Full Member

In the FAQ section

Quote:Can UD still compete for CAA championships this season?
Yes, UD can still compete for CAA championships in all sports for the 2023-24 season. The CAA adjusted its bylaws, allowing all teams to compete for CAA championships through the duration of their membership in the conference, with the exception of football in the fall 2024 season because of the NCAA reclassification rules.
