VA49er mentioned something in the Chris Wray thread that should be a reminder to all. It is getting closer to an election year! We are fast approaching the Lying season where false promises, and smoke and mirror "actions" take center stage.
This is a non partisan event - THEY ALL DO IT.
However, because the Dems are holding the stick (POTUS) but are also getting desperate (ironically also because of POTUS and V-POTUS) what can we expect them to do to pull the wool over everyone's eyes and make it appear that they are doing something?
- I noticed this a story earlier in the day that while accurate, is indicative of Lying Season. US Oil output at its highest level ever; then the accurate claim this has more than helped to offset the Saudi's cut backs and reduce the cost per barrel. JB will be taking full credit for that in short order - even while continuing to promise cutting back at the same time.
- The other big one is going to be some kind of "action plan" to address the migrant situation. This one is going to be a doozy and will take quite a bit of smoke and mirrors to pull off. Clearly this country is getting tired of the influx, JB needs some pretty stealth messaging here and some help from the media to make this look like they are actually slowing this down.
