Good luck to them -- and really to any school that hitches their football team to a far-flung conference in hopes of getting a few FBS scraps.
I feel bad for anyone involved in the non-revenue sports having to fly all over the country.
Wonder where the men's soccer team is gonna wind up, since C-USA doesn't sponsor it.

I don't think C-USA is their forever home, they just wanted their foot in the door. Probably hoping that UMass or even UConn joins them.

Oh yeah, no doubt about that. I have to think they're hoping to parlay this into an AAC invite some day. And they might be able to do it. But everyone else in that conference is in the same boat and who knows when or if it might happen.

Interesting note in this ESPN story: The CAA got rid of the rule that bans departing teams from the postseason.
Quote:As for basketball, Delaware would be eligible for the postseason in both 2023-24 and 2024-25 after a recent bylaw change in the CAA.
