You wouldn't know there is a game in a couple of hours.
On paper this looks like a beat down. Others have posted about Kent St. being ranked as one of if not the worst FBS team. The only game against an FBS team they were in was against Akron. Ball State destroyed them in the last game. Kent St. didn't gain 100 yards on O and they gave up 300 yards on the ground to Ball State. Plus, both the Kent St. QBs are questionable, so even if they play they won't be at 100% (and weren't having a good season anyway). Kent St. is a bad team and the weakest team we have played (IMO not even close).
Do the Huskies give Kent St. a beat down? We know how inconsistent our Huskies have been. Strange things can happen in MAC games (just ask the Ohio fans when Ohio was down to Akron 14-3 at the half before dominating the second half). However, we have something to play for (bowl eligibility) and 1-9 Kent St. has nothing to play for. Pride? Not based on getting destroyed by Ball State. I see our Huskies going for over 300 yards rushing (with multiple RBs going over 100 yards), the D being dominant against a bad Kent St. O and dominating (until perhaps the 4th quarter when we may see a lot of the backups). So a beat down so long as Rocky doesn't get the dropsies again or we have other types of TOs letting Kent St. stay in the game.

Rumor has it there is a football game today involving NIU and Kent State. Rumor also has it NIU is favored by 19.5 points, hard to believe that given NIU does everything the hard way. Seems like an important game given a bowl prospect if NIU wins!
