Yes, and both weather scenarios worked against Charlotte. The UConn game was called just a few minutes BEFORE it would have been an official game with Charlotte leading 1-0. The UNCG game was called just AFTER enough minutes had been played to make it an official game (and just after UNCG had taken a 1-0 lead).
Tulsa I would still say is one of the most talented teams except at the forward position. Injury to the only player who apparently knows how to close out a goal really hurt the team. No one else knows how to get the ball into the back of the net. If we can get a couple scorers next year look for Tulsa to be back in the top 10 nationally. I love seeing Charlotte and FIU doing their thing! I think soccer is going to stay strong in the AAC.

To my knowledge, the refs had little impact on the game and no water bottles were thrown.

True story: the tape broke in the first minute of their set and they had to reset and literally take it from the top, take two.
Paula Abdul was also on the bill and did a MUCH better job of lip syncing
