I’m headed to Greenville on Saturday but I’m not proud of it. Let’s get drunk Pirates03-nutkick
Will this be the breaking point for ECU fans?

Bruh, if we lose to Charlotte, Mike Houston might get abducted before he leaves the stadium to go home. DK might not get out of Ward.

And, depending on the score, that might necessitate a meeting with the AD come Monday or prior.
clt says the first team to 6 pts will win

Jokes aside, you might be right.05-stirthepot03-lmfao03-weeping
One way or another, it's going to be an ugly game.

clt says both teams should agree to only run the ball and punt. no forward passes or fgs

ECU fans are already broken from the 1-5 start. Trust me.

A lot have already past the breaking point, this would be the breaking point for the few that haven't.

Maybe not proud to play ECU (bacause we truly suck) but you better be damn proud rolling into Greenville as a member of the American Athletic Conference, capiche?
I'm looking forward to a slugfest. Considering it's homecoming, I'm pulling for the Pirates. Let the leanest and meanest team win.
Watch out pirates, Charlotte ruined our homecoming last year, not cool, 49ers!
clt expects it to rain all day, and neither team score or gain a first down

we may punt on 3rd down
The O/U is 41.5. Smash that under so hard. That number would have had to be set in the 20’s for me to even consider the over.

clt says that o/u is twice what it should be

easy $ before vegas catches up
Losing to Rice was the breaking point.

Losing to Charlotte would be hilarious.

Fanbase at the fifth stage?

Though I doubt it will happen, there would be a special sense of irony if it were us to help you send Houston off to another place.

I hereby declare the inaugural Booty Bowl to be temporarily renamed the Ass Bowl, for it should stink very much.

Hope ECU was more thorough in this search than they were with the last AD, HC, and Chancellor searches.

That's my worry. 3 years in FCS when he took over a fairly successful program doesn't demonstrate any sort of long-term success. I wonder who else was on the list or if Houston was always ECU's #1.

Just gonna leave those here. Hiring Houston was about the 5th or 6th trip up in a row when ECU couldn't afford any mistakes. Letting him have DK as OC was the 7th.

I just don't think Vegas can catch up, it's hard to set an O/U line at 25, which is about where it would need to be for me to consider the over. You guys are averaging 13.6 ppg in your 5 FBS games, ECU is averaging 14.2 ppg in our 5 FBS games and that's including the 2 defensive TD's against App and the defense giving us the ball against Marshall on the 3 for the only TD in that game. Both of us appear to have at least semi functioning defenses, maybe susceptible to giving up the big play, but that would require facing an offense capable of a big play. Then throw in a potentially iffy weather forecast and this seriously looks like a 6-3 ballgame minus the teams scoring defensive TD's.
