Tough five days for the Herd!
For all you people who won't be in the stands anywhere on Saturday, looks like a great day of sitting on the couch watching non-stop SBC football on linear TV! 04-cheers

Its becoming an every week thing. No idea what the count of total "linear" games is this year vs last, but it sure feels like many more.

Yes sir. Rainy day, pot of beef stew and plenty of libations. ODU on a Bye week. Looking forward to staying in my PJ’s and watching stress free Sun Belt football today. Good luck to all teams playing, I hope your hearts and emotions are riding a roller coaster today from back and forth close games.

Agreed. No idea if it is or not, but it definitely seems like a lot more this year.
James Madison and Marshall both on a short week before facing off in a Thursday primetime battle! That should make things very interesting. And South Alabama, beware of the Tuesday night curse this season hosting a winless Sun Belt squad...

Let’s not make up curses, otherwise we might start believing it. Haha.
It doesn’t get much better for the SBC than an ESPN game with a national audience. That kind of media exposure is fantastic! With SBC victories this year over Okie St., Baylor, VT and Virginia, FB fans are starting to take notice the SBC is tough. Here’s hoping Marshall and JMU open the eyes of future recruits to the quality of football played in the SBC, and the ESPN Thursday night game brings benefits all across SBC FB.

Go SBC!
Been surprised by the Tuesday games of late.

2022 Sun Belt linear TV broadcasts:
16 on ESPN networks
- ESPN CCG and a Thursday
- ESPN2 five, all Wednesday/Thursday
- Saturdays, seven ESPNU
7 sublicensed to NFLN

2023 Sun Belt linear TV broadcasts, through the Week 8 announcements made 9 Oct:
17 on ESPN networks
- CCG on ABC / ESPN
- ESPN two Thursdays
- ESPN2 eight, four Saturday two Tuesday, two Thursday
- Saturdays nine total, four on ESPN2 five ESPNU
4 sublicensed to NFLN

The Sun Belt linear is already ahead of last year, anyway you consider it, and five more weeks' selections could add to that.
