If I remember correctly, AFA and Fresno do not play each other this year so they could potentially both go to the MWC champ game undefeated. Both of them have to face Wyoming in the next two contests (1 loss to Texas). If they both make it past the Cowboys then it's hard to see the access bowl going to anyone other than the MWC Champ barring some wild upsets.

The SBC East and Troy are very impressive this year. Others in the West have shown promise but are a bit too Jekyll and Hyde to really stand apart (something WKU fans know all about).
