Connecticut Police have launched an investigation after video evidence was discovered of a Democrat clerk dumping illegal mail-in ballots into a drop box at 5 AM in the morning for the recent Democrat primary election.
Sounds exactly like what happened in the 2020 election.
According to Connecticut law, an individual can only drop off their own absentee ballot. They cannot drop off multiple ballots for other individuals unless they are an immediate family member or a designated agent, authorized by the voter to do so.
The woman in the footage is Wanda Geter-Pataky, the Vice Chairwoman of the Democratic Town Clerk. She was a big supporter of the current Mayor Joe Ganim, who won the primary by only 251 votes.
John Gomes was his opponent and says the election was stolen from him, “Video surveillance proving that the mayoral election was unequivocally stolen through corruption within City Hall by tampering with absentee ballots,” John Gomes
Once again more evidence of Democrats rigging their own elections with the tactics they used in 2020 and 2022.
Just another day ending in Y in the world of absentee-voting and ballot-harvesting.

Regardless, this video itself does not prove fraud in any way shape or form.

One would think they would be able to identify the ones she specifically dropped?
I would love to know what all those ballots looked like - which I am sure are identical?

As I've explained in other threads, this is a drop box. What is being put in are absentee/mail ballots. These are ballots that are only sent to voters who requested them. The state knows who they sent them to. What's placed in the drop box is a ballot within an inner envelope. That inner envelope is signed by the voter. That inner envelope is then placed in an outer envelope and then dropped in the drop box.
When the envelopes are pulled from the drop box, they are opened by one person. Then another person opens the inner envelope and does the comparison of the voter's signature to the voter rolls to make sure it's a valid voter.
So 1 of 2 things most likely happened.
1. Either that lady got access to several ballots, completed them, forged signatures, and then dropped them in the box. To do that, she's also have to know that the people she's impersonating have not already voted as duplicates would quickly be caught. This would be fraud, of course.
2. The other possibility is that she knows several people, collected their ballots, and dropped them in the box for them. Assuming she didn't pay them for their votes or something like that. This would be ballot harvesting, which is illegal in CT, but that's not voter fraud...unless she convinced the voters to vote in a certain way, or pay them, etc.
Another possibility is that if she's an election worker, she may have been authorized to drop them in the box. This seems less likely since it appears to be dark out, but this is something the police will hopefully figure out.
Bottom line, unless there's more footage of this women dropping way more ballots in this or other boxes, it appears that this would only be possibly a few fraudulent ballots and therefore would most likely not change any election outcome.

That's like California and their $951 minimum for shoplifting prosecution... (or whatever number it is now).
Stealings/cheating's ok, as long as you don't "over" cheat/steal.
Hey, a little murder here or there is just fine, as long as he only kills one or two people in a lifetime...

Sure, I believe ballot harvesting is illegal in CT. So she could certainly, and should, be prosecuted for that if that's what she did. But if so, you probably can't and don't disenfranchise those voters for her crime.
And yeah, the last part is troublesome. But again, with the safeguards in place of being able to track the returned ballots to the ones requested, it makes it extremely difficult to pull off any sort of large scale fraud...the type necessary to consistently alter elections.
But no, that does not make any of it okay. It's still wrong. But that's a far cry from the rhetoric that all our elections are, or have been, "stolen."

We need to make sure we're applying the word 'disenfrachising' correctly, but like 'racist', it's a word that's lost its meaning.

Many on here claim that if someone harvests your ballot that it should not be counted. That would be disenfranchising those voters.
In that case, the voters likely didn't do anything wrong. So you don't throw out those votes.
If someone gave her their ballots to be illegally deposited in a dropbox by her they disenfranchised themselves.
