Remind me again how much we pay Candle? D looked entirely unprepared for all but 1 play on that initial TD drive for Illinois. Do they just skip game planning as a staff?

Well, that was easy. Now we'll find out if the OL can keep Illinois off of Finn.

44 should be playing contain and he keeps pushing inside. Coaches need to tell him what his position is.

Not great defense on that first drive. Vince Kehres usually adjusts well, hopefully he can get his guys to do so tonight.

Never been a big fan of deferring when you are an underdog.

Zero resistance from the defense on that first drive. Not the ideal start to the season.
