PAC4 gonna make moves quickly I'd assume.
Assuming the vote still ends in no expansion, Cal and Stanford go independent / Big West. OSU/WSU to MWC.
All eyes on FSU, Clemson, & NC State.

I think Stanford puts basketball and olympic sports in the WCC in that event. Big West is all public, WCC is all private.
Heels want clarification on how much of that $55m they get for blowing a 15 point lead at half time of the MBB national championship game.
Why release that if they have the no votes? You don't.

This means they are afraid it will pass.
UNC owns NCSU so it's over.

Reading espn’s ticker that they will discuss reducing Stanford and Cali’s revenue.

Thought they were at $8 million a piece. What do they want to reduce it to ….$3 million ?

Calford are better off joining the mountain west , signing a 5 year agreement. They will get picked in the next iteration in 2030.

No need locking yourself in a 13 year grant of rights and traveling across the country.

It’s also possible NCSt doesn’t want to add crappy SMU and two schools from California either.

If I were Cal and Stanford, I'd go independent before I'd accept $3 million/year. They probably could do better than that as independents on the open market.

Well yeah. But UNC being against it pretty much stops this stupidity in it's tracks.

They wouldn’t get any playoff money or general conference revenue as an Independent. Conferences have more payouts than just the media deal.

They’ve been against every expansion. Since this was UNCCH board, NCSU is free to go their own way. And Clemson was open. My best bet is 13-2 with FSU and UNC nos
I bet Cal and Stanford are regretting rejecting the B12, huh.

Board of Governors oversee UNC-CH and NC State. This statement is coming from UNC-CH BOT…they’re seeking to influence the vote.

Correct
Can't understand why people think Cal could go independent even if they had a place to park their Oly sports. Stanford could, I think. However, the WCC and Big West aren't going to want their Oly sports and the MWC won't take them without football.
“the economics of this newly imagined transcontinental conference do not sufficiently address the income disparity ACC members face.”

This quote is from a UNC Trustee. Not a FSU Trustee. Believe it or not.
