Arrested on federal gun charges. The whole story is behind a paywall, but uggh, terrible news.

Bad news for anyone.

I hope and pray he comes out the other side okay and on a better path. He is innocent until otherwise.
He bought guns from licensed dealers and sold them without a license. He also built some of his guns. The problem is 6 of his guns ended up at crime scenes all over NE and NW Ohio
Sentenced to 7 years. Sad for him to fall into that life. And he has 6 kids. I guess I had never heard the story about his dad and sister being murdered like that. Man what a life he has lived.

Horrible news. Hopefully he gets out of prison in 3 or 4 years,or less, gets on probation and gets back on a more productive path.

Just curious. Will UT do anything to help a former player upon release? Help get a job, counseling, anything? Or do we do opposite and distance ourselves from him?

no idea whether UT Athletics will do anything, publicly or even they have done for others in past..perhaps privately they do but seems as an adult the former player needs to take responsibility to improve their lives and not so sure the college program owes them anything.
