Rocky and Tray both stay healthy and we have another record breaking offense passing and rushing. The defense is vastly improved and we go 11-1….

Hopefully not Akron again.
8-4 or 9-3... MAC Champs AGAIN!
8-4, injury-easy season goes well, we beat one of the P5's.

GO HUSKIES!

Boston college...maybe Nebraska, they aren't any good and in transition
OOC
I feel if we win a P5 it will be BC.
Nebraska will be looking to pay us back after our last visit.

MAC
We open the MAC schedule at Toledo 9/30. I just feel if we lose that game there’s no way we win the MAC West. That’d be a real buzzkill before October.

Nebraska already beat us after our upset win
We should have won the BC game at home. That missed field goal at the end hurt. We’re going to take this one against them

Correct. My bad. Then maybe they’ve forgotten our W 03-shhhh
Rudolph and defense are key.
5-7.

If that's the case, I'm sending Rod Carey an Edible Arrangement

Matt Rule will have his Huskers ready. Tough, tough game for us.
8-4
I am really high on this team. Give hammock credit here - he rebuilt the roster fairly quickly and addressed the needs I feel like we had:

Changed the personnel in the back 7 on defense. Besides brown/Byrd we might not have any of the same starters from last season back there (and Byrd might not be your starter.) There will be improvement from the line, they got older and stronger I have no worries there. The only concern? The scheme. But with 1 voice to lead it I am going to assume some of the confusion that the defense showed last year should be gone…in the very least.

On offense the team will score. Veteran o-line. A stable of big backs to wear everyone down? Should swing some late season wind battles in our favor.

I am going 11-1. Loss to someone silly too - not a team like Toledo.

***all of this is predicated on Hammock improving as a game day coach- team goes as he does this season. They are talented. ***

My expectations for this year's team are pretty inline with the video. 5-7 is a safe bet, but I wouldn't be surprised if it's another 3-9 year. The 2021 season is definitely an outlier under Hammock and it took a few miracles just to go 9-5. No more excuses for Hammock. He needs to win, or it's time for his Huskie dream to be over.

If Rocky can stay healthy then I think the Huskies will be competitive in every game. Rudolph coming back will be huge for the offense's ability to have explosive plays. Hopefully someone can replace Tucker as the "sure thing" on third and long. I'm not worried about the running game.

With a healthy offense, wins and losses will come down to how well the defense plays. Are the CBs still a liability? Can the D-line get to the QB? I hope so!

Go Huskies!
I'd put the O/U at 7.5 and take the over of an 8 win season.

While I like the changes on D im not going to say it's an asset. Imagine they'll be giving up 28-30 PPG still. Offense is already set to be very good and if any new stars emerge it will be at wr/te.
I go with 6-6. It's not an easy schedule, like Toledo's, and we have to play Ohio (East division's best team) in crossover. Plus until I see an improved defense from a Hammock-led team I can't predict a 2021-like performance.

Losses to BC, Nebraska, Toledo, Ohio, CMU (they always beat us), and lose a game we shouldn't (Tulsa or Akron).
