Before I vote, is this an open poll or only for a certain subset of readers?

clt says great question, pal. clt felt comfortable since we are officially official now
I voted the NY6/CFB playoff because I thought AAC members did not speak of the G5?
Grab the G5 access spot 4 of 5 years, always top rated G5 football conference, 3 bids+ to NCAA bb tournament.
Yeah, kind of an "all-of-the-above" but also any one item is also good.
Definitely expect the CFB playoff spot. Also expect multiple NCAA tournament bids. If either of those doesn’t occur regularly, the conference is a failure.
This is a great question, but I don't think the answer is as simple as picking A, B, or C...

I think there is a combination of things that need to occur. Athletically, the AAC needs to earn that last access bowl spot, and again be a multi-bid Tourney conferences that gets a team into at least the Sweet-16. Off the field, the AAC needs to win the recruiting wars against G conferences, win the ratings wars against G conferences, win the athletic budget wars against the G conferences, & close the gap between us and the PAC in all areas. At least that's the way I see it.

I think Side Show Joe has it spot on.

ACCESS/CFP spot 5 of 5 years. We must dominate to get total respect and more viewers.
Voted the NY6.

The MBB tourney has always had Cinderella and has been easier to break through IMHO. Getting a NY6 bowl game feels like it would be the big time.
Just to kind of say it...

Football:
Our top football school should make the CFP annually https://collegefootballplayoff.com/ and and our #2 should be making the cut for some top tier bowls outside of that.

We should fulfill all of our bowl commitments.

With our current selection of schools, we should be the #1 G5 without question. The MWC and SBC are the only ones that could give us a run in terms of top programs but not overall.

>2 T25 Teams.

Basketball:
NCAAs: > 2 bid league

NIT: 2-3 bid league

>1 T25 team

Baseball:
NCAAs: 2-3 bid league.

>2 T25 teams.
The score card begins and ends with CFP berths. If we don't have the bid in all but the wonkiest seasons, then we've failed.

How is the #2 going to make a "top tier bowl" with these tie ins?

I would focus less on the tie ins right now and worry more on the win rate, until tie ins change
