I recently rewatched JFK and then JFK Revisited (also by Oliver Stone, 2021)

I've read just about every book and watched just about every documentary on the assassination.

A few things from me on this:

1. I am 100% convinced he was killed by the CIA with the cooperation of military leaders. LBJ included.

2. It's hard to believe more time has passed since the movie release to now vs. the assassination and the movie release

3. Go back and watch the scene with Garrison (Costner) and Mr. X( Donald Sutherland). Listen to the discussion and then ask yourself if it sounds familiar.

Tucker today... how ironic.

See my #3 point again. I'll post the scene if I can find it on YouTube

Why do you think they made Gerald Ford POTUS?
Here you go... #3

Reminder that a month later to the very day of the assassination, Truman wrote a op-Ed lamenting the creation CIA he helped to build; that it veered way off from its origin goal and purpose. Alan Dulles who Kennedy had fired and whom LBJ appointed on the Warren Commission called Truman and begged him to reconsider his op-Ed.
I have a bridge to sell anyone that thinks Lee Harvey Oswald killed him.
If you haven't watched 11.22.63 you should. Although not a documentary, it is a quick series on a guy trying to keep the assassination from happening.

Watched and read the novel. Good stuff.

Huge King fan once upon a time, before I knew what he really was.

Agreed.

The JFK assassination is now historically equidistant between today and May 1, *1904*. smh

I don’t believe the assassination itself was the result of any kind of conspiracy. But just from a dramatic/fictional standpoint, Oliver Stone’s “JFK” movie is a powerhouse, and the Costner/Sutherland scene is the main reason why.

By the way, that movie is probably the last one ever made in Hollywood which portrayed homosexuality as something sinister, perverse, and destructive to American society and its institutions. Nothing like that would ever be shown in mainstream theaters today. If that film were being made now, the whole Clay Shaw angle would have to be completely re-written.
JFK was assassinated because he was going to expose the NWO. He said it in a speech right before he died.
And dismantle the CIA.

Definitely a good one

Not historically correct though obviously.
I actually heard a theory not long ago that makes the most sense to me. Very obviously too many shady things were happening after the fact for this to be exactly the story that was claimed. The theory I heard was essentially the kill shot came from one of the secret service members on accident and then the secret service wanted to cover that up. I need to go back and find all the details on it, but a small cover up of a few secret service agents wanting to hide their f up is much more believable to me than the vast conspiracies that require so much coordination and so many people to stay quiet for this long.
"on accident"

03-lmfao Sounds like a good guy.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Allen_Dulles

Quote:Allen Welsh Dulles was the first civilian director of central intelligence, and its longest-serving director to-date. As head of the Central Intelligence Agency during the early Cold War, he oversaw the 1953 Iranian coup d'état, the 1954 Guatemalan coup d'état, the Lockheed U-2 aircraft program, the Project MKUltra mind control program and the Bay of Pigs Invasion..........

According to his sister, Eleanor, Dulles had "at least a hundred" extramarital affairs, including some during his tenure with the CIA

A real piece of ****.

Yeah, from the way this theory was laid out the secret service members went out and got all kinds of drunk the night before and were hungover as hell. I believe the way it was laid out is after the first 2 shots one of them rose up obviously startled and accidentally shot Kennedy in the head, and then all the subsequent shady moves from the secret service afterwards kinda make perfect sense if you view it in the light of "oh sh*t we were hung over and accidentally killed the president we better hide that". Obviously I then believe people in the government found that out, because they aren't that good, but they'd rather go with he was killed by Oswald alone then have to try to explain "well he was shot by Oswald but our hung over secret service agents actually technically killed him." It then makes sense why Oswald would think he was a "patsy" because he would know he didn't fire the kill shot. To me CYA of a secret service screw up makes more sense and is a lot easier to hide for this long than the vast conspiracies between the CIA and military.

In closing I believe it absolutely is a conspiracy and a coverup, just a coverup of embarrassing incompetence.

Among assassination buffs, it’s knows as the “Mortal Error” theory, after the title of a book published about 1992 or so.

The Secret Service has long acknowledged that at least one of its agents in the car behind Kennedy was armed with an AR-15. That’s not a conspiracy or a hypothesis, it’s a fact. There is at least one AP/UPI type photo that shows the gun being held by the Secret Service agent a few seconds after Kennedy was shot. The “theory” part of the discussion, of course, is whether that AR-15 was actually discharged.

I think the country has finally come to terms with the reality that we are never going to get 100% of the facts about this, anymore than we will ever get 100% of the facts about all the other things in life that are hard to understand. The difference with JFK is that, for tens of millions of people, that was the watershed moment when they lost faith — or began to lose faith — in the institutions that lead America. That loss of faith is like a cancer in society. and once it takes root it is almost impossible to eradicate.
All I need to see is the Zabpruder film.

His melon exploded on the side of his head... from a shot from the grassy knoll.

I believe that picture is in the movie.

But basic physics tells us the kill shot did not come from that angle.
