Interesting that Cooper (idk who he is) is a projected 1st teamer when their other guy Steele was the beast that was Ball State in 2022... Also Beale as a 1st team PR guy is fine, but he muffed punts vs. Liberty and EMU that almost cost us the game.

A Toledo receiver will be 1st team. Not sure Judge deserves 1st team yet, but he learned behind some good ones.

Marquez Cooper was first team All-MAC for Kent State last year and has since transferred to Ball State. For the most part, it seems the magazine bumped up players from lower All-MAC teams first and then filled in from there with their best assumptions. There are some talented players on the 3rd and 4th teams that could easily make their way up to the 1st and 2nd teams by year end.

Did you know that Steele left Ball State to enroll at UCLA? That's why he is not showing up on any All-Mac teams for 2023. Couldn't tell if you were thinking he was missed in favor of the new guy that transferred in at BSU.

No, I knew he left and had all of the carries, so I was shocked to see a backup or transfer as the 1st team all MAC rb. But I do know who Cooper is, just didn't know he transfered to Ball State. Their stud wideout from KSU went to Penn State, and I assumed Cooper would get some lower P5 looks. He's pretty good and deserved of his predictive accolades.

Transferring inside the conference will never not be weird to me.
