I think it's relevant to realignment that a new P5 member is working to up their game athletically.

You can do this what? Every 4-5 years? ODU MBB went to Spain a few years back.

Edit: Yep, 4 years. ODU went to Italy/Greece in 2012 & Spain in 2016. Don't know if anything was panned in 2020 but it obviously wouldn't have happened.

Yeah, I don't think there's much to read into this. Teams can do this every few years and it's a nice perk. Now if Dawkins comes back with a couple of Italian recruits, I'll be more intrigued.
