The # of people who dislike Trump and DeSantis, but still want to contribute to a GOP candidate isn’t that large. But they do skew to the very wealthy (Romney, Cheney, etc.). That’s who is giving Haley the $$$$.

I actually think she did well as Governor of S.C. and as Ambassador to the U.N.

Unfortunately for her, there’s only room for 1 candidate in the “not Trump, not never-Trump” lane, and DeSantis is occupying it for the time being. If he implodes, we can check back with Haley and see how she’s doing.

Establishment / warhawk money. Look at the type of donations, and it will probably be few donors but with large sums going to the PAC.

In two weeks after announcing his run, Jeb! was able to amass $114million. But almost all of that came from a PAC, and that had probably been out there for a while and had enormous donations made by just a few people.

This also likely happened with Haley. A Pac had gotten ahold of a few super-donors, then transmitted the money to her campaign after she announced.

The number to watch is that generated by her own campaign thats not transferred by another entity. There is a limit to how much individuals can give to a campaign. If her campaign's haul is only a fraction of the total haul, it means she doesnt have a lot of individual support. Thats what happened to Jeb! He burned and churned through $130million really quickly in the primary, and couldnt get any traction once the primary got going.

It's not real bad, unless she already spent 11m.

I don't think there is a single politician hire than city council that has anything to do with this reporting.
She needs a spanking for telling a lie
