These figures are insane.

What's ours? Like $300 on a t mobile family plan with unlimited talk, text and data. Plus a Zoom subscription?

Don't forget the laminated pass to go to the head of the line waiting to use the urinal trough in Huskie Stadium!
How do you spend that much dough on just recruiting?

Sure, but to the tune of $4.5 mil in 12 months? Almost 400k/month? Eesh.

I like the melee at the end where the really short recruiter is kicking everyone in the groin, and of course the Jimmy Mac cameo, fun flick.

What's wild to me is that the salaries of the various off field staff these programs have been bulking up on *aren't* part of that total.

It does include transportation "including school's vehicles and planes" which...damn.

This is what a $280k recruiting weekend looks like https://theathletic.com/3598484/2022/09/...h-manning/

String together enough $10,000-$25,000 catering bills and you get somewhere I guess.

Maybe that is why we run out of hot dogs and bottled water at sporting events, they are being used to entice recruits.
.... Cash is going to someone....

Quote:Georgia's total operating revenue for fiscal year 2022 (July 2021 through June 2022) was reported as $203,048,566,

https://knightnewhousedata.org/fbs/mac

2021 NIU Athletics total revenues were $17,125,000.
NIU is dead last in the MAC in total revenue. The MAC average is around $25 million. We are way behind our MAC peers in athletic revenue. Buffalo and Miami are over $30 million.

Mr. Frazier, time to get on it and start coming up with new ways or negotiating increased revenue with existing generation methods and contracts.

Where's the naming rights for Huskie Stadium or Convo?

Why is Huskies Invest only goal to raise $500k in 5 days? Maybe set a goal of $2 million over the course of one month.

Why is it so hard to find NIU branded clothing and accessories? Maybe negotiate a new merchandise licensing agreement. There's merchandise revenue being left on the table when the only quality NIU gear can be found at NIU Bookstore on campus or DeKalb Walmart.

Selling out the football program for non-conference road games can't be the primary answer to revenue generation.

Maybe STF can sell DEI buttons and keychains outside the stadium.
NIU gets a lot of bang for the buck. We have been competitive on a miniscule budget. The problem is not enough Alumni care and/or give to NIU. This will only get worse as years go by, enjoy the good times now.

A new AD and a culture shift and things could be looking up in the near future. Sad but I think we're just stuck in the mud as long as STF is collecting paychecks in Dekalb. Would love to be proven wrong with stadium funding etc., but I think he would have accomplished that by now if he was at all capable.

Who are all these big donors that say ,once STF is gone, I am going to kick in 6 or 7 figures? Who was the last big donor we have had in 15 years?
