This is a very good, confident team. Their guards and the big can play. They would have been highly competitive at the top of C-USA alongside FAU, UNT and us.

Concerned their guards are the kind who have given us a lot of trouble defensively. But at same time, they have to guard us. Chasing Jelly and Eric will be a challenge for them.

I don’t think they have a forward who matches up well with KJ.

Their 7-footer is raw but coming on strong. Chance to be an NBA player, IMO. Very active and elite shot blocker. Kinda like Sharp in terms of impact but more active on both ends and doesn’t fade out or go stretches where he disappears. But he also hasn’t had to face anyone like Richard who is as tall but a lot stronger and pretty athletic and active himself.

Game could come down to which big stays out of foul trouble and makes the most impact.

I think we need a good game out of Tavin.

They remind me a little of FAU with how they play but not as good of course. Just in terms of versatility and pro-style approach.
It bothers me that they have 4 guys averaging 13+ (as opposed to 1 who lights it up nightly). Seems like that’s the recipe where one of the pretty good scorers blows up for a career high against the Blazers
Rebound, defend and don’t forget about the mid-range
We have had career days out of two of the three Ancient Ones in this NIT run. It's time for LA Brewer to light it up.

Zing
Here is a crazy stat about UVU - they are the largest university in the state. They have over 41k students. It's pretty wild considering they only moved up to D1 in 2003.

I thought it was BYU or Utah Utes

UVU offers more than 40 online degrees, so they're kind of like Troy in terms of student numbers.

And they have one of the best ballroom dancing programs in the country
Tavin needs to have a great game against Woodbury. Then swap Ty onto him after that if Woodbury gets his shot going.
