Defensive back Sopuruchi Ojinnaka (6-0, 170, 4.5) of Warren (Mich.) Mott High School announced his commitment to Central Michigan on Monday afternoon, via Twitter.

A class of 2024 recruit, Ojinnaka was offered a scholarship by the Chippewas in June 2021. He chose CMU over reported recruiting interest from Miami and Akron.
