#4 falls to Furman. With all its flaws, I still love March Madness.

Wow!

Maryland won over WVU and I feel bad for Huggins as his big got some horrible calls that fouled him out early.

I saw part of that game. Nip and tuck.
I had Furman winning in my Bracket.02-13-banana
That guard from Virginia is an absolute moron

Bart Torvik had VA at #32, Kenpom 32, even the NET was 27. So the committee had multiple tools to use, and went against every one of them.

4 seed my butt.

I just watched the final 5 seconds, and now I know what you are talking about. hoo boy was that bad.
I was watching this game and in the 2nd half they scanned the Furman fans in a wide shot and swept past some adorable college girl in Furman purple jumping up and down. It was nothing dirty at all, she was just super adorable. It was enough to make me rewind and pause to see her. I though wow she really stood out in that crowd.

A few minutes later they did a still shot on her section with her in the center. I thought, yeah the camera guys noticed her as well lol.

A few minutes later they zoomed all the way in to her face up close for several seconds as she prayed.

lol I thought it was pretty funny.
MWC showing their worth
That Furman win was one of my “out on a limb” picks. I usually get bit by those kind….

But I was watching the UM/WVU game and noticed a lot of what I would call illegal screens not being called. Don’t know if it was that particular crew, or how they were told to call games this year. Should be interesting to watch going forward….
I had both Virginia and West Virginia winning today. Oh well.

Bad day for the Virginia's for sure.

Virginia lost to a 16 seed a few years back, then won the NC the next year. I think its their lack of offensive punch that makes them vunrable to lower seeds. They often can't put lesser teams away so they hang around and hang around, then the Cavs go on one of their scoring droughts and it opens the door for the lower seed.
Sorry, Virginia, but there is no Santa Claus

San Diego St is having an issue with Charleston.

4 teams in, and by 8:30pm tonite they may be down to 0.
Just saw the last play in the Furman/Virginia. I get why the VA kid did it, but he missed an open player that was much closer.

Right. How have they gotten so much support in the polls?!
BTW, Kenny-the-Jet-Smith trying to sound intelligent is hilarious. That boy slow! He benefited from some faux UNC classes!!
Furman has the only upset of the day so far - everything else has been chalk.
Arizona just went down. They didn’t look like a 2 seed either. PG play was suspect
That was crazy how they lost. Just threw it away
