What he does is take certain KenPom stats and looks at the worst rankings before the tourney started for a team that won a championship. For Memphis the only negative was strength of schedule.
That's odd considering we have the 57th SoS in the country in KenPom and 25th ranked OOC SoS. Only 4 schools ranked higher than us in KenPom had a stronger OOC SoS(Bama, Zags, KU, and SDSU).

Did they say that Duke's SoS was weak? KenPom 67th SoS and 101st OOC SOS.

Why would he have? Duke wasnt even on the list.

Maybe we will give him new data for next season.

You did the same thing I did for a moment while watching the video. The stats you're posting are after the play-in games started. I also forgot about them for a moment. He is talking about what the numbers look like before all of the tournament begins. Also according to him the lowest SoS for a winner was 45th. That's why ours was a negative since it was 63rd at the time.
