Defensively he’s turrible. We have a lot more length out there and when we play Lomax, he’s at least a pest defensively in spite of his size.

Tyler’s game doesn’t fit this teams unselfish style.

Wasn't it reported that he was causing problems on the team--and that Penny cut him loose for that reason ?

I would have loved to have seen Landers in a Tiger uniform this year. He kinda got a raw deal last year.

We would have been a top 3 seed this year if Duren had returned.

He would have added a ton to our defense, been a monster on the boards and given us a lot of easy buckets in big games.

I think the quote I heard was that he was a locker room lawyer. It’s funny how the same people that were bashing Penny about having dissection in the locker room are now questioning why he got rid of the players that were causing the dissention. You can’t make this stuff up lol

The people who did not suit on this year's Tiger squad, are gone for a reason.
Whatever they did behind the scenes, Penny felt it disrupted team chemistry...and so they were/are gone
We can appreciate their contributions as Tigers, but ultimately they are responsible for not being on this team now.

My feelings towards penny has changed a bit. I got really frustrated with him after the UCF game in Orlando and against tulane but I feel like he has grown as a coach these past 2 months. Next year will tell us quite a bit about our future as we won’t have DW and KD back, we will need some real leadership in the locker room

I liked Tyler, too, but very few of us know the inner workings of the team dynamic. If Penny felt the Tigers would be better (on the court or off) without him, that's all I need to know.

I was never a big fan of Harris. Then after seeing him ignore Larry Brown on the bench a time or two that really shocked me. Young people...go figure.

Thats the obvious answer but realistically I dream about LQ. Imagine DW LQ EM KK KD. Or KK sixth man and Malco and the 5.

We lose 4 games tops with LQ on this team. But he made a roster, so he absolutely made the right choice.

Lester & Duren are the only two from last year I would have loved to have been a part of this team.
