I think this new offense we have will fair better than the block fest at Kaplan. It’s still a huge hill to climb, but I doubt we have double digit shots blocked at least.

Looking at the stats from our first game at home in January, we out rebounded them 45-32 by having 19 offensive rebounds to their 1 which resulted in over 12 of our shots being blocked. The leading offensive rebounders were Collier 6 and Lowe 4. Lowe played 21 minutes but has seen no meaningful playing time in our last 3 games.

Gabe and Ayesa rotated and between them were 9-17 from 3.

If Mullins and Case can shutdown Estrada then this is a winnable game with good 3 point shooting by the Tribe. Key will be player rotation with mixing up our defense and opportunistic fast breaks and our guards crashing the boards

We are 13.5 underdogs with 8% chances

Hofstra is better than us and better coached. They have had over a week off and should be well rested. My hope is that they are rusty and spend a lot of energy trying to trap us like Elon did. The trapping hurt Elon in that they never got back into their zone all the time. We rotated the ball well and got a lot of open threes. Earlier in the season, we just focused on the high post, dribble and penetrate, and the shots were mostly contested. Give us the open looks today and I think we can make a game of it. We've got absolutely nothing to lose today.

Vegas has underestimated us by an average of nearly 10 points our last three games. All the late line shifts have also moved in the direction of our opponents.

One or two big bets on games like this can move the line a lot. I guarantee there isn't a lot of money being bet. Smart house money will move the line back close to tip off.

I have no expectations for this one, but we’re playing with house money and should be feeling confident.

Hofstra 6 for their first 8. We're doing too much driving into the paint with nowhere to go when we get there.

The Hofstra fans sound really loud on the radio.

Not a great start…2 shots blocked already!

Clearly both the offensive and defensive plans need dumped. Having Ben try to double team at the top of the key on defense does not work nor does give it to Ben on the lane on offense.

Our coaching marvels yesterday are a pathetic effort today.

Ayesa has only touched the ball once!! Stop forcing it inside and try some outside shots to open things up inside. duh!

5 TO's in the last 6 minutes, so unable to take advantage of Hofstra's 4 straight misses to get back into the game.

We’re just outmatched at every position.

At this rate Hofstra will be resting their starters for the whole second half.

We can’t make anything, they can’t miss anything

2 of 16 (13%). You almost have to try to miss that many shots.

All the good we saw in our offense in the last few games was trashed by our coaches with this game plan.
