I think a Charleston/Hofstra final would be one of the best championship match-ups the CAA has had since VCU/Drexel.
After watching multiple games at the tourney, it really does look like:
1) Hofstra/Charleston
2) Towson
3) Everyone else
In the quarterfinals yesterday, only Drexel/UNCW was a competitive game.
Ironically, all of the three other games ALL started out with a 22-2 lead for the winner, the games were never contested.
Also of note: GREAT showing of fan support from Charleston. Easily the best traveled team this year.
I think this was easily one the most predictable tournaments in our history. the tiers have been obvious for some time. Drexel blowing a double digit 2nd half lead was also not surprising. Top 4 deserve it, tonight should be good for our conference. We have the best teams dueling it out on tv

And then, there were two....
Amazing that Charleston has now won
30 games and still is far from assured of an NCAA bid. But I say that they don make it in regardless, provided a hypothetical loss tonight is a close one.
So my dream is a UNCW win, Charleston at-large, Hosftra making serious noise in the NIT, and Towson being CBI Champions.

You might be right. The broadcasters actually stated they now think Charleston would get an at large if your Hawks win.
Side comment. On tv you can see 3 or 4 guys in maroon/white striped overalls behind your cheering squad. I don’t know why they are allowed to be there, it borders on harassment. I noticed in the Stony Brook quarterfinal, Arena personnel relocated one of these guys who was heckling the SBU band down their end.

For sure. I hope they do us proud.
