This actually isn't a bad hire by HDN.

Wittke's offenses at Eastern Illinois ripped apart I-AA teams left and right. His QB this year was named I-AA Player of the Year.

HDN wanted to hire Wittke last time, but Wittke declined. Nutt then settled on David Lee. This guy really knows what he's doing with a QB is what I've heard.

Now we just need a good DL coach.

And HELL YEAH to George Pugh for turning down Bama and staying here.
