Of course they will. Almost as big a fools as Dems make of themselves daily.
See how much better things are when Biden* starts to act like Trump?

This kind of comment is comedy gold. Honestly, it requires a massive lack of self awareness for a Lefty like yourself to claim that the Democrat lawmakers would have sat silently on their hands as Trump allowed a Chinese Spy Balloon, in full public view---to leisurely traverse our skies for about week. The reality is that you're just mad because Biden botched the Balloon situation about as badly as it could be botched---and thats not an opinion thats only held by Republicans----its an opinion held by the overwhelming majority of the American people.
What will we do when 20 or 30 of these things come at once? And where are they coming from?

SOTU rating by CNN should clearly show someone like Tommy where the majority stand on issues and how one is handling them but it’s easy for all sides to find their bias sources to tell them otherwise.

Obama was right on Biden! “Don’t underestimated Joe’s ability to ____ things up”

Afghanistan withdraw, Israel, Objects/spying mechanisms flying over our homeland posing a risk to national security and commercial flights, inflation, the southern border, the economy, and some would argue Ukraine are just a few examples.

All is good in a loons head though.

24 F22s in a squadron, each F22 can carry 2 AIM-9X and 6 AIM-120 without using external hard points. That’s a lot of balloons.

Just needed one last week.

Great. They killed Santa and a couple reindeer out for a final run before stowing the sleigh for summer.

Nah. Too much chance of a miss or misfire. Instead ...

Play "Trident Bingo" on the sending/controlling end of the balloons ... under the D-5, that's a D-5. ... BINGO!

The balloons will stop.
I'm pretty sure I know what the object was

the military did not notify trump 3 times in his term

the military did not notify biden on the china balloon until later

maybe its not the yellow guy thats the problem but the green guy

the military is preparing us for when it happens

During peacetime, isnt our normal procedure to visually identify what we are about to shoot down---especially when its an unknown target large enough to potentially be manned? I feel like we actually know a great deal more about what we shot down than what we are saying.
Republicans Hit Biden With I Told You So After US Shoots Down Object Over Alaska

Quote:Republican lawmakers said Friday news that the U.S. military shot down a flying object over Alaska is further evidence President Biden waited too long to order the downing of a Chinese spy balloon that flew across the U.S. mainland last week.

National Security Council spokesman John Kirby announced Friday the Department of Defense shot down a “high altitude object” flying in territorial waters over Alaska.

“I can confirm that the Department of Defense was tracking a high altitude object over Alaska airspace in the last 24 hours out,” Kirby said.

“The object was flying at an altitude of 40,000 feet and posed a reasonable threat to the safety of civilian flight. Out of an abundance of caution and the recommendation of the Pentagon, President Biden ordered the military to down the object. And they did. And it came in inside our territorial waters.”

Kirby noted that “fighter aircraft assigned to U.S. Northern Command took down the object within the last hour,” adding that the “object” was “much, much smaller than the spy balloon that we took down last Saturday.”

Several lawmakers shared their takes on the “object,” with Wyoming Sen. Cynthia Lummis, a Republican, telling Fox News Digital, the “Chinese Communist Party has not proven itself trustworthy, and now that a second high altitude object was shot down over our country, these rogue objects in our airspace are clearly not a mistake.

“The U.S. should defend our borders and airspace with whatever force necessary,” Lummis said. “I will continue to monitor this situation.”

Rep. Jim Banks, R-Ind., told Fox News Digital while “we don’t know the details yet, we do know that Joe Biden’s failed foreign policy has left America much weaker than before he took office.

“Biden’s refusal to shoot down the Chinese spy balloon sent a message to all of our foreign adversaries that America’s skies are as wide open as our southern border,” the Indiana Senate candidate told Fox News Digital in an exclusive quote.

Freshman Rep. Cory Mills, R-Fla., a U.S. Army combat veteran, said this “is exactly what the U.S. should have done last time.”

“Why is it only now, when the administration was caught in a blunder just days before, did we take this strong action,” Mills said. “Either Biden doesn’t know how to play offensive or he’s slow to learn.”

Alaska Sen. Dan Sullivan, a Republican, said in a press release Friday he “appreciated the senior Defense Department officials who briefed me this morning on the sighting of this latest object.”

“As I’ve been doing for the past week, including in a classified briefing with senior Pentagon officials yesterday, I strongly encouraged the NORTHCOM Commander this morning to shoot down this latest unidentified intrusion into Alaska air space,” Sullivan said. “I commend them for doing so today.

“As I reiterated with senior Defense Department officials yesterday, we need to reestablish deterrence with regard to Xi Jinping and the Chinese Communist Party which believes they can willfully infiltrate American airspace whenever they want. That has to stop.

I just wish we had a huge network of military installations all over the world that could help detect this sort of thing. Ideally, if we had had access to some islands in the Pacific, we could put bases there, between us and China. And places like Japan and South Korea are right by China and are friendly countries.

But since the shortest distance is often more circumpolar, we would need a giant piece of land far to to the north. And even though it would probably cost trillions over decades, I think a string of bases and radar stations watching the skies could help stop these things from just appearing over the continental US.

It’d probably cost to much and take hundreds of thousands of people to man, so I don’t think voters would be willing to borrow the money necessary to build something like that. We’re too practical to fall into that kind of spending trap unless we had more assurance it would be effective. And it could also distract from our regime change mission.
