Hawks take on Stony Brook today at 1 pm and are a 6.5 road favorite. If you look at the dominant mascot theory, that would indicate that the Seawolves have an advantage up there in Yankee territory against the spread but perhaps not such an advantage to win because exact weather data not in yet for the theory to be exact.

I like that VDH is playing more, but I'd like to see him get more minutes on the floor. Teams are packing it in more, denying the inside-out game, daring UNCW ti shoot from outside. VDH can really shoot, but he's had so many DNPs that he needs more floor time to get into rhythm.
Stonybrook is doing the same thing , and are giving us all we can handle right now.
And alas we can not hit a 3 to save our life.

Yep fellas, I agree. Need EVH, Hayes and Newby to hoist it. Need J Harvey to hit some big ones too.

Other teams are taking away what has been working for us, forcing us to do "something else", and we look a little bewildered. A lot of guys trying to make something happen, versus something resembling an offense rhythm.
They are daring us to beat them with the threes, and we are losing those dares for the most part. VDH is a shooter. We probably wouldn't have beaten Elon without him. But shooters need PT to shoot to be able get into a groove.

He’s really scoring it! Need that!! I think he needs several shots per game and is good coming off screens too. Having a killer would really open things up and I think we have a killer from deep.
