No Myron. No Nigel. Walker not dressed
Jovan still out. Pelphrey on the bench for TT
This whole season and pretty much the whole Walker era is like a bad episode of the Twilight Zone. More weird stuff in 5 years than in most lifetimes! I came on here looking for answers as well. If none of us know I doubt anyone outside the extreme inner circle knows. Also I assume Jordan Shorter is gone. I have never seen him on the bench and he hasn’t played all year.
Same result as usual. Another home loss. No moral victories matter when the program is reeling like this one. This is a sinking ship and anyone that can't see it is a brother in law or in serious denial. I'm not sure we will win another game this season.
What's frustrating is that with exception to @ Tennessee St., we've been in these conference ball games but we just can't get over the 5-10 point 1st half deficit. It just doesn't look like we adjust enough or as early enough as we need to.

I know we're young but let's face it, mid-majors will always be young with the transfer portal. You got to adjust to it. And Walker doesn't look like he's adjusted to it. All the good players leave, and a lot of the players that remain know that they can't go to anyplace better.

More specifically on this game, our help/rotational defense sucks. They were just going to the basket making these layups with no one to help challenge them.

You are right that there are no moral victories when you are falling deeper into last place. Still, our guys deserve some credit, playing without 2 starters (Nigel and Myron) which included our best player, as well as without our 6th man who has been freshman of the week 3 times. We only lost by 2 and had a realistic chance to win with under 20 seconds left. But, to get back to your point, it is hard to see us winning our next game against a team that beat us by 25. Then it's back on the road and I'm not sure when we get our next win.

I think all appreciate your loyalty to the program, no matter what obstacles are placed in your way at the head coach position. But talk about “serious denial”, you are probably the poster child!

Shorter is no longer on the roster.
