6pm central on ESPN+

This is a road game the Huskies have a decent chance to get a win. The Redhawks are 4-10 with a net rank of 311 while our Huskies are 4-11 with a NET of 305. Miami has no stars just as we are without Williams. Their big man at 6'8" is Mirambeaux with 12.9 ppg, .491 fg% and 5.8 rebs.

The common opponents scores are interesting:

Miami lost to Indiana St by 27 AT Oxford while Huskies won by 10 at ISU.
Miami lost to CMU at CMU by 12 while Huskies won by 19 in Dekalb.
BUT WAIT, Miami beat Buffalo by 11 at Miami while Huskies lost by 18 at Buffalo.

Don't let the big man have a field day and we will sneak out of Oxford with a win.

GO HUSKIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Very winnable road game, go get it.
Agreed. Very winnable game with the roster they currently have. But I sure wish the game was at 7 PM. I have some errands to attend to and a basketball tryout to oversee so I might be home in time to watch the 2nd half.
Huskies making 3’s so far looking good. Announcers said Huskies are last in the MAC in making 3’s
Great win Huskies and coach Burno! Road wins are hard to come by
Despite the refs trying to give the game to Redhawks, I have one question. Konan (the barbarian) was in for a minutre or two, was fouled, made two, left the game and never came back in! Hurt? Pissed off the coach for some reason? Or what?

Good road win.

GO HUSKIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Nice win. It wasn't perfect and they let Miami back into it at the end (but...it's not like Miami wasn't trying to get back into it).

I was only able to watch about 75% of the 2nd half, which is where NIU had their best play and, from what I could see, it came down to work and hustle.

Then I looked at the stats and 2nd chance points were well in favor of the Huskies at 15-9 (I think it was a little more of a spread with about 3 minutes to play). That happens with work.

This team plays hard.

My guess is that he was coming back from an injury and wanted to ease him back, but more likely the games was too close to risk playing him more. Durosinmi only played 4 mins. He went with a rotation he felt best with this game. Pretty much went with the starting 5 rotating Hunter in. That’s a lot of minutes for the starters. Not sure how much they can hold up at that pace with Thornton and Coit averaging 39 mins a game. Need to get Russell back to help spread the mins out and ease Konan back into the rotation.

This team plays real hard, love to see them get rewarded for the effort.

I think you're spot on in regards to Konan.

Conference games that are close and winnable aren't to be messed with. Put the guys out there that can win you the game.

He kept Plintauskas out of the game until the very end and then Plintauskas did exactly what I expected him to do...a numbers advantage attempt at an alley oop to Crump and was immediately taken out of the game.

Honestly, as bad of a play as that was...I wasn't even made at him. I love that guy's heart and drive and when you have a sports car...you don't put it in there to drive in the left lane!!!! 03-lmfao

But yeah, he's easing Konan back into the flow and the game was too close to have a guy in there who has missed 3 consecutive games.

Hunter made some clutch FTs down the stretch to hold the lead, too. And every time I see Ibarguen play, I like him more.
Good game, team has a lot of moxie, like that.
