Has that ever happened in the same season?

Yep!

Ah, it was the roaring 20’s… terrypops and dillywinks were the cat’s pajamas!

But in all seriousness, congrats to those programs. They’ve really been the bee’s knees this early season.
Both Fordham and Duquesne have winning records at this point. Good is subjective.
You piqued my interest, so I looked it up. Both had 20 win seasons in 1951-2 and in 1970-71. Actually, in the early 50's, Duquesne was highly ranked, with their star Dick Ricketts being the #1 pick in the NBA draft in 1955.

Duquesne had 20+ wins in 2008 and 2019 in the A-10. Fordham has never been good since they moved to the A-10.
They certainly did their part in OOC play. It's just that the rest of the conference pretty much shat the bed. It's encouraging to see for sure - if everyone else played to their expectations we'd be in line for 3-4 bids easy as opposed to only getting the auto bid.
So just as I suspected, never together in the A-10.

Yep. Just like how UVU making the NIT is “good”. For over 100-150+ programs, probably not so much.
Fordham about to lose by double digits to 7-5 Davidson at home. Who said they were good?
Duquesne also lost to 9-5 Dayton by double digits tonight.
Looks like C2 jinxed 'em, LOL. In Hawaii we call that "bachi". As in "Hey, no brag and bachi the team brah!"
Fordham has more appearances in the FCS football playoffs (six) than NCAA basketball appearances since 1971 (one).

For that matter, Duquesne also has more appearances in the FCS football playoffs (two) than NCAA basketball appearances since 1971 (one).
A-10 looks like a one bid league this season.
I want a rematch with Duquesne
Fordham had a whopping 14 points scored at halftime against Davidson. In their own gym. Davidson raced up 35 spots in the NET for that road win.

They should be, and should have been one the past couple of years. Their commissioner is on the selection committee this season, though.
It’s called A10 parity.
Fordham will win 6 games in the conference. They have 1.5 decent OOC wins and the one top 50 game they played, they got beaten like they owe Arkansas money.

Dukes will probably win 7 or 8 in conference.

Both are smoke and mirrors good and that is about it.

They should have stayed in MAAC or Patriot League.
I disagree. Both have good bones and locations. Fordham has a historic gym and Duquesne plays in a nice metro arena (I believe).

Didn’t Fordham lose a coach for a DUI?
Fordham is off to its best start since 1971, improving to 17-4 with a 85-70 win over GW.

Could finally be the year Fordham overshadows the Yankees in the Bronx.
