Burning Sage's redshirt tells me Ezikpe may be out or on the outs.
Uc really sloppy the last 5+ Bryant still playing really hard

It’s going hurt the Kenpom on defense. Open gym from the six minute mark.
Haven't seen it mentioned here, but Bryant has 6 players not available due to an "undisclosed illness".

4 are deep bench that don't really play. Another is their 7th or 8th man. They are also missing a starter
Fun game
I like that uc attacked the Bryant press and turned it into open jumpers and dunks.
Ezikpe in the doghouse?
Skillings had 14 points and 13 rebounds
It was good to see a lot of the new players get significant minutes. Skillings and Reed have the size and talent that UC needs.

Reed had 10 and 9....gotta get them Freshmen more minutes

Phinisee has a foot injury

It's a fracture and he will be out for some time.

Yup, Ezikpe was dressed but didn't enter the game, even during garbage time when our walk-ons were in. That's a message from Wes.
Kenpom had uc as 11 point favorites. That was a damn good performance.

The 11 point half against nku still makes no sense. This team has been really good on offense most the season.
Some positive sports stuff. Good.

The super excellent football search has me so verklempt that I opted to work on some rough framing in the garage rather than watch.
Bryant was missing their second leading scorer and their best interior defender, but there was a lot to like from us regardless. I really liked the length we bring with only one guard (MAW or DDJ) on the court. Skillings, Reed and Hensley are going to cause teams nightmares on defense once they settle in. Skillings brings great rebounding as well and Reed has a pure and quick release from 3.

I wish Hensley would rebound better, he has all the physical tools for it but seems hesitant to go after the ball. The rest of his stat-line was great and his defense was great (he was regularly guarding Bryant's top scoring guard), but 0 rebounds at 6'9" is a problem. In his defense he was often on the perimeter on both ends, but still he has the athleticism to seek the ball on rebounds (much like Skillings does).

It felt like we were also a lot looser with the ball without Phinisee. Not having another veteran PG is probably going to lead to more TO's as other guys make more mistakes.

Bryant was overmatched by our size, it felt like Lakhin could do whatever he wanted. Nonetheless it was great to see him, Skillings and Reed dominating the boards.

Hopefully Davenport's injury isn't serious. Though there's part of me that thinks we are better off in the long run if Skillings, Reed and Hensley get more of his minutes anyway.
Had good seats for this one. Solid atmosphere with who deys today as well. The freshmen are good!!! Team played well. Still a lot of crap to clean up to beat legit teams.
The 42 bench points today nearly doubled our next two best bench efforts from Chaminade (22 points) and NJIT (20 points).

Bryant is playing only one non-walk-on caliber player that is over 6'4.

.......and yet, Bryant defeated Syracuse over a week ago. Sort of interesting

Except that Bryant didn't have six players sick a week ago. Completely different.
