Lost @ Charleston

GO HUSKIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
NIU womens basketball won today at EIU.
Lost by a bucket. EIU is undefeated so far at 7-0, we are the toughest team they had faced so far this season.

A'Jay Davis with 21 boards to go with 20 points. She has been a rebounding machine this year to go along being the second leading scorer on the team.
Two posts say we lost. Two posts say we won. We need a tiebreaker.
NIU won for gods sake! They have now won 7 in a row. I watched the whole game
Chelby Kocker hit the game winner with 2 seconds left in the game
I swear to God the scorebox I looked at had them losing 69-71. As God as my witness I thought turkeys could fly.
Has to be up there with one of the best starts in WBB history especially with a win over DePaul.
NIU women seem to be the most impressive team in conference so far. BG also has a good record but their wins have come against bad teams, none of the teams they've beat have a winning record. Meanwhile NIU has beaten three teams with winning records and another team that is .500.

I apologize and am glad I am wrong. I swear like Shaefer I saw where they lost by six or so.

Its exciting to see you guys get excited for women's basketball, we need more of that in the MAC. That has been one of our strongest programs for years. In fact, our home attendance is around 3,000 + per game, which would rank #3 in the conference if compared to MAC men's attendance. Ohio men and Toledo men average more then that. So far this year we had Duke at home and then played Penn State at a neutral sites to get a big test early. We lost to Penn State by one point and Duke by a little more. Kudos to the Lady Huskies! It should be a good match up!

The Lady Huskies are the only bright spot we have this fall in athletics. One of these days we will best teams, have best attendance and have the best run athletic department as Toledo has. Maybe we will have Free Hot Dog Friday also.
Turkeys can fly. :)

Les Nessman said they were hitting the ground like wet bags of cement.
