Probably not...OSU would be aiming for a leader at a higher ranked institution than UC honestly.

UBC is elite and they took Ono.

And Michigan took Ono from UBC. That's what OSU will do...take someone from another Top 10-40 institution, likely the Provost of said institution.

Looked up all their Presidential hires since the late 70s

VP at Iowa (aau)
President at Colorado (aau)
President at Maryland (aau)
Provost at Florida (aau)
President at Vanderbilt (aau)
President at UC Irvine (aau)
President of SUNY system (3 aau campuses)

They're almost certainly going to hire from within the club. Pinto is safe.

O$U would be the perfect place for Nancy Zimpher to rule over. She would definitely clean house up there and make their sports teams graduate with degrees. Fans would definitely be upset over that one.

I am not so sure. She does not have Wyler and Cox calling the shots from the BOT. She would do whatever she is told and that is business as usual in Columbus.
