I was going to make a poll but frankly there are too many hypothetical candidates and Cunningham's MO seems to be to keep everything very closely guarded so it's difficult to narrow down imo.
You can post whatever you want of course, but this is intended to be a PREDICTION thread at this moment in time as opposed to a wish list (maybe there should be a thread dedicated to that as well.)
I'll get it rolling and say that if I had to guess right now, the new HC will be Brian Hartline. I do think our AD has a preference for HC experience, but I don't think it's necessarily a deal-breaker.

I hope it's not Campbell. The guy who went 35-15 at Toledo is now 46-42 at Iowa St. That's trending in the wrong direction. A big meh IMO. Realistically, why would he leave one B12 school for another? How many coaches jump ship within the same conference?

He'd be going from the worst job in the big 12 that's a second fiddle program in a small state and he's been the most successful coach the last half century to a program right in his recruiting wheelhouse that's had a ton of success the last decade and a half and is about to have doors opened to it that have been closed

Happens all the time in the SEC or it seems like it.
Do you have any recent examples? I'm talking head coaches and not assistants. If it happens it is rare indeed.

Kansas is the worst job. Anywho, you're higher on him than I am. Since the peak 9-3 year in 2020 Campbell is 7-6 and 4-8. Sounds like Tuberville to me.
