Where has "this" Farmer been? Nice job!

Moving the ball much better today. Bet they got an earful after yesterday.

How serious is the injury?
JT just fouled out. 4th foul, then a technical. Now down to 7.
Toledo has had a lack of discipline in all three of the Gulf Coast classic games.
Rockets up 69-60 with 7:52 left

82-69 final. We win a game. Without Cochran and JT fouls out with around 11 to go in the second half.
Millner with 22, Dennis with 13, Shumate and Maddox with 12, Farmer with 11, Lorentsson with 7, and Moss with 5.

Rest of starters and bench pulled together to put up a much needed W.
Interesting that Moss isn't scoring much this season. Zero points for Edu.
Moss shoots too many 3s. It took the bench screaming at him not to shoot a 3 after an offensive board under 4 minutes.

Farmer and Maddox were Huge. Lorenston had a great 3 minutes with a defensive play and some buckets with free tosses. Makes the trip home a bit easier?
If you lose your first two games then you have all afternoon to go to the beach each day. Maybe that was the strategy.
While it was a disappointing tournament overall for Toledo, it was nice to see them bounce back today with “40 minutes” of overall good basketball against Northern Kentucky. There are obvious shortcomings that they still need to be addressed like defensive breakdowns and unforced turnovers, but one positive from the first six games is the contribution we are getting from our bench. Having players like Maddox, Cochran, Edu, and today Farmer and Lorentson providing scoring, rebounding and minutes for our starters to rest is a major luxury that we have not had in past years. Hopefully this bench production continues and becomes a major asset instead of a liability which we all think has been one of the reasons we’ve come up short in Cleveland. Up next is a challenging slate of nonconference games with 4 of 6 on the road against quality Mid Major programs. It will be a chance for Toledo to clean up some issues, figure out their rotations, and get some momentum going into MAC play.
Kyle Rowland wrote in the Blade that Cochran was out with a "sprained toe". Foot injuries are usually slow to heal and easily aggravated but a toe injury seems less serious in the long run. I hope he is good to go soon but there is no point in rushing him out too soon.
