Yes, that was definitely happening and definitely extremely annoying. GTS turned off all advertising on site today. See the announcement he posted at the very top of the boards.

I use an AD Blocker, just get one of those extensions (I use the AdBlock extension) I don't get anything.

I understand that some companies don't allow extensions on their machines, mine included (though one could strongly argue why are you using your work machine for personal use but that's another topic)

However what's stopping you from downloading the Brave Browser that comes with built in ad protection? Most companies don't block Brave Browser, and if so, ask IT to allow it or at least a reason why not.
