Anyone heard what the status is?

He is a Stars draft pick and I think he could only add more depth to our D-core.

I wonder why its not been brought up in the weekly pressers with Fersch?

He's listed on the roster. Not a lot of freshmen have been able to crack this lineup so far.
He's ineligible right now for playing semi-pro back home, and WMU is attempting to get the NCAA to allow him eligibility.

Thats what I thought, something to do with his eligibility.

Hopefully everything will work out for him.

He’s expected to clear the NCAA and that was the understanding when he was recruited as well. The timeline from the NCAA is the hold up.

Maybe, this ends up being a semester thing at this point. We get him in the lineup in the new year?
I just heard that he is possibly out for 40 games, which would be until next year around this time.
40 f***ing games? Since the NCAA can't nail players or schools for benefits anymore, they love to screw players on eligibility.

Would he lose a year of eligibility as well? That would be a shame, wouldn't blame him for heading to the pros. NCAA makes exceptions for the big name programs, not for the smaller programs apparently.

o

Yes. IMO, I'm a little surprised if it ends up being 40. Look like they are docking him for approx. 1 gm for every 1 game he played professionally.
I will be surprised if he gets a full 40 games that he would want to stick around.
