Watch deep over the middle…
well done D!
Nice win, man that feels good!
Defense had 6 sacks! Huskies win = Defense big effort. Last 3,4 games have shown something.
I'm going to sleep better tonight.
Wasn’t happy with the second half offense but the came out with a win. Congrats to the Huskies and the coaching staff.

+1000
WMU isn't that good but man it sure feels like this defense if finally coming around.
Happy for this team.....Nick Alvarado is going to be "the guy"

Nevan will be fine. He had a few tough series, all about the development.
My thinking is Cremo may have been pretty banged up too late in the 3rd qtr (remember he got creamed on that one INT), with that and his tendency to throw picks, safe play was to try Lynch. We got lucky, WMU couldn't follow the ball with that little option play.
My goodness, Buffalo is in a freefall.

We found a couple of good players on D - Alvarado and White

He's a gimmick.

Cremascoli should be the guy, keep developing him, and use Lynch from time to time especially late when the opposing defense is banged up and tired.

Do you think he is a guy ? I know he’s a freshman but 42% completion rate (in limited time, granted) when they are barely throwing the ball past 10 yards.

I don’t see it I definitely could be wrong but think if he is playing meaningful minutes in the next 3 years we are in trouble.

Lynch I recognize is not going to be the guy if we are winning serious games in the next few years but his stats from Temple as a true freshman look a lot better right now.

I think that had more to do with playing another bad team on NIUs level this season. Did love what I saw out of Jordan white though.
I should add, I think for the sake of the program and this set of players/coaches they need to finish the season strong. I think Lynch gives us the best chance to compete.

Agreed on white. This defense needs someone to give them an edge. They haven’t had that.

I’m fine with him playing the rest of the season, but open the entire playbook to see how he handles it and if he can make the throws when he’s given more than 3 times in a game to throw.
Woohoo, we finally win another game!

We are a better road team. Won two of our three games on the road. Now let's play these last two home games and defend our home field.

If all things go as they seem like they will, Lombardi will be back next year as the starter. Now, I have no idea how healthy he actually is, but if he comes back healthy and durable, then that's "the guy".

After that, 2nd string is either Hampton or Cremascoli and the next in line after that is Lynch but Lynch can do things the others can't which is run and plow, so he'll probably be in the mix/rotation each game no matter who is the starter.

The main problem, and I can't believe I have to say this, is Lynch is a terrible QB. He can run Wildcat and options and stuff but that's all HS stuff. He can't throw the ball and is entirely one dimensional.

That, almost by definition, can't be your guy unless he's truly special and Justin Lynch isn't special like that.

Now, if for some reason, Lombardi doesn't come back next year, I fully expect Hammock to pick up a QB in the transfer portal and, just like like he did with Rocky, one with 2 years of eligibility remaining.
