Good point sellrg1, I agree. Not that we will have much more attendance at the other games though.
They just want to do it at a game where they are fairly certain we can win

Sr night and possibly bowl qualification game. The core base will be there.
Agreed. Move to 2023 on Sept 30th vs Boise St. Weather should be great against a solid opponent that fans will come to see.

Yep
Sometimes some discussion or criticism is warranted, after all, this is a MESSAGE board
But complaining about everything all the time is indeed exhausting
They will up the ante by now complaining about you (and others) and others complaining about their complaining
And so on
This complaint just seems like overkill.
There are legit complaints about the program right now - this doesn't seem to be one.
Let's be thankful for Danton and the ceremony, and just enjoy it - regardless of the opponent.

UCF is a Homecoming and all athletes reunion game. They are also honoring Coach Murphy. Tulsa they are honoring Glenn Rogers, Sr. North Alabama was chosen to provide a game where it doesn't conflict with other honors. It will also ensure a lot of his teammates can be there. Many of them coach HS football and their seasons will more than likely be over so they can attend.
